They do not establish a market rule, a medical standard, or the fee structure of another clinic. The example shows why you should identify the billed service, the billing company, and the controlling terms for each charge.<\/p>\n<h2>Self-pay consumers can ask about a good faith estimate<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cms.gov\/medical-bill-rights\/know-your-rights\/no-insurance\">CMS explains good faith estimates for people who do not have insurance or choose not to use it<\/a>. CMS says providers and facilities must provide an estimate in many scheduled-care situations when a person asks or schedules far enough in advance.
